It's Taco Bell. You either love it or you hate it. The location is nice and you can order on a touchscreen which is cool! They have few alcohol options, but overall it's pretty nice!

So this Taco Bell Cantina just opened up around here recently. It got a lot of buzz because it serves booze, so we went in to check it out. It's in the middle of a strip mall underneath a huge building of student apartments. Good location. The inside is moderny and divey and it's got a neat feel to it. Definitely different from traditional Bells.

So there's booze. But the food isn't all that different. Pretty much the same. Well, there are three different options for Taco Bell tapas for the table to split, but they're lame things like cheese and jalapeno burritos and cheese quesadillas cut in half and called nachos. Not very impressive.

I will say that I really liked the open kitchen. We could watch our orders get made from start to finish. A nice touch. I also like the TV's. There are only two of them, so it's not very functional and wouldn't be useful on game day, but it's still an interesting touch.

Overall, it's not bad. If you want booze, come here. If you don't, there's another Bell about 3 miles down the street.

I heard this new Taco Bell cantina was open, so we satisfied our taco cravings and ordered online for pickup. There's no drive-thru, so you have to wait inside with all the dine-ins. We got there and I immediately noticed the beer taps.

We advised the cashier of our online order and she printed our receipt, handed me my drink cup, and said she would send the kitchen our order...WHAT?! I was expecting it to already be assembled! So we waited 10 minutes for our food.

I got a Double Decker with steak, Meximelt w guacamole and sour cream, and nachos. We customized our food online and luckily everything was right.

Maybe one day when I return we can dine in and have some beer.

The absolute best Taco Bell I've ever been to! Not only are the staff extremely friendly and accommodating, but the food actually looks like the photos on the menu! Oh, and let's not downplay how awesome it is that this location serves BEER AND WINE! The beer taps fill your cup from the bottom, so a word to the wise: Don't poke the magnet on the bottom of your cup like I did... Let's just say the hand dryers in the bathroom work well on clothing, too. Lol

The lovely ladies that took my order let me order off the SECRET MENU! I got the Chicken Enchirito. It was glorious! This place is awesome. That is all.

I guess after all the hype I was thinking this was a version of Taco Bell that maybe had table service or a different menu or something. I couldn't really find a lot of info online, so I guess that fact that it's basically just a normal Taco Bell with a few different menu items AND wine and beer options was why. I am still, however, giving them 5 stars, mostly because I LOVE Taco Bell. It's consistently good and I know what to expect. The other menu items I mentioned above are some shareable items. Then have mini quesadillas, chicken chip baskets, and one other item that I can't remember; something with jalapeño. They also have those cool draft systems where your beer gets filled from the bottom of your cup. Either way, I plan on coming back to try some of the shareable items and have a beer or two. I'll update my review then. Can't wait to come back!
